| North Corniche is a key 12km long corridor, North West of the center of the City of Jeddah running parallel to the western coastline and the Red Sea. The site of North Corniche holds vital importance for Jeddah City as it is the only well-developed waterfront in the entire western coastal region of Kingdom. It attracts millions of visitors all the year from entire kingdom and the foreign visitors. It acts as a prime recreational place for the residents of Jeddah. The concept of the masterplan is based on the delivery of an animated urban waterfront that responds to the existing context & rich ecology of the site. The vision is to create a great public legacy for Jeddah & provide a lively, safe, & accessible destination for people of all ages. |
