| Obhur Creek is located approximately 20 km north of the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The new crossing of Obhur Creek, with links to the city’s main transport routes, will play a major role in assisting the development of the area north of Obhur Creek. The bridge is envisioned to have 8 lanes, two 3.6m sidewalks, 3.7m spaces between the sidewalks and traffic areas and also includes two lanes of rail transit located at an elevation above the vehicular traffic. The resulting width of the bridge is 74.5m. The Final Arch Concept developed achieves the vision of a beautiful, iconic and highly functional bridge. The bridge will support development of the areas north of Obhur Creek for many years to come and become a recognizable symbol of Jeddah and the surrounding areas. |
